Jonathan Johnston is our wise and authentic lead pastor. It is important to Jonathan that our church is a place where we engage our community with the love of Jesus. Jonathan has been a member of the HBC family for 4 years and in his time here he has worked to help our church see the importance of being the hands and feet of Jesus in Mercer County. Jonathan’s biggest spiritual influence is his father who he grew up watching as a pastor in Jonathan’s native state of Alabama. When Jonathan isn’t preaching, leading or serving our community, he and his wife of 22 years, Andrea, their son Micah, and two cats, Skittles and Jonesy like to spend time together.  Jonathan is always down to spend time with members of our community except on Saturdays in the fall, because that’s when Alabama plays football.
