They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. – Acts 2:42

We believe that sharing our journey toward Jesus involves studying the Bible together. We offer various times throughout the week for group Bible study. There are Bible study groups for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9AM. High school students have a Bible study time at 6PM on Sunday nights. On Wednesdays, groups are offered for all ages except High school. There is also a young adults group that meets at 6PM on Thursday. To find a group that fits you, contact Associate Pastor, Mark Young at mark@harrodsburgbaptist.org.

For 2021, HBC is studying The Story.

1. Is The Story the Bible?

The Story is absolutely the Bible. Here is a description of The Story from thestory.com; “The Story is an abridged, chronological Bible that reads like a novel. There are verse references, and Scripture segments are seamlessly woven together with transition text into a single grand narrative.”

2. Why is HBC using The Story in 2021 to help us learn the Bible?

HBC is using The Story in 2021 so that our understanding and love of the Bible will grow.

3. How exactly is HBC studying The Story together?

A. Read the weekly chapter of The Story prior to Sunday morning. (Make sure you have a copy of the reading schedule. You can download it below.)

B. Sunday Sermon will cover the weekly chapter.

C. Most Sunday School Discipleship Classes will be covering The Story using The Story Curriculum.

D. HBC Kids and HBC Youth will be studying the elements of The Story on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

E. Mark and Bo will be doing an online Q & A time on Wednesday nights to answer any questions remaining about the previous week’s chapter.
