One can sense the essence of a church in several ways. One is through its vision: "Harrodsburg Baptist Church, a Christian Community helping people become devoted followers of Christ."

Another is through its history: since 1839, ministering the gospel in the heart of the oldest English speaking town west of the Allegheny Mountains. You see it through its opportunities: witnessing to Christ and ministering in His name in the local community and around the world.

Or you may feel the essence of a church through its spirit: found through the warm and caring relationships of its people, realizing that it is God’s Spirit that is bringing His presence and encouragement into our lives.

The Church is cooperatively related to other churches in Mercer County through the Mercer Baptist Association and the Mercer Ministerial Association. In Kentucky , we support both the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship. Beyond Kentucky , we support missions and ministry through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Southern Baptist Convention.
